You start
You set the safety window, home area, and pets involved. The app shows the confirmed end time.
PawSafe / Safety window
You start a safety window for your pet. If you do not check in on time, PawSafe notifies your selected contacts through the channels you set up. App notifications remain free; optional SMS coverage adds an incident contact route.
PawSafe is not an emergency service. In an immediate emergency, use your local emergency number.
The flow
PawSafe guides a clear sequence. The session starts with your action and ends with your confirmed return.
You set the safety window, home area, and pets involved. The app shows the confirmed end time.
When you return, PawSafe asks for confirmation. A location signal never ends a session by itself.
If a notification is triggered, selected contacts receive a protected link with clear response choices. App notifications are free; enabled SMS coverage adds another contact route.
For contacts
The contact page separates message delivery from a person’s response. “Delivered” does not mean the message was read.
The person is taking the route to the home area.
The person has arrived and is checking the situation.
The person confirms every pet involved. The incident then closes.
The person cannot take over for now and may choose “on the way” later.
The person withdraws their help. Other contacts see the updated status.
Calm by default
PawSafe uses clear states instead of a permanent warning screen. You see what was started, confirmed, and shared with contacts.
The website uses no marketing or analytics cookies. The contact page uses only the server data required for its session. See the privacy notice.
Free use with reachable app contacts remains available. Optional SMS coverage currently costs €9.90 per week or €39.90 per year and renews automatically. The App Store shows the price, term, and cancellation options before purchase.
